Build a pond or pondless water feature using these sturdy injection molded tub.

Laguna Water Basins provide the all-important foundation for your water garden.

Water basins are generally easier to install than lined, in-ground ponds since their shape and depth are pre-determined.

All you need to do is excavate an appropriately-sized hole. Made of rigid, heavy-duty polyethylene construction, the injection-molded water basins are designed to withstand all kinds of extreme conditions, including heavy water loads, hot summers, and frigid winters, and are guaranteed to resist cracking, peeling, and fading for ten years.

They are safe for fish and aquatic plants.

Additional holes can be drilled in these Ponds.

Customer Question:

I have two questions...can I drill a couple of holes in the pond near the top in order to run tubing to and from the pump. And second, I live in NE Indiana where the ground is mostly clay. what would be your suggestion for the best material to use to backfill around the pond...regular top soil, sand...?

Laguna Supplier Answer:

I assume the holes are above the water line. Then yes. Below water line, then a bulk head fitting is needed.

I would dig the hole a little larger than the basin. Then to make sure the basin is settled well in the ground, back fill with soil. While doing so, I would use a garden hose and run water during this procedure. When the "wet" soil dries, customer should have a good snug tight fit for the basin in ground. The muddy mix should fill in any gaps under and along the sides of basin.
